Nigerian troops capture monstrous armored tank from Boko Haram

Nigerian troops captured this monstrous T-55 armored tank pictured above and a highly sophisticated Armored Personnel Carrier from Boko Haram members on Friday September 26th as they tried to invade Maiduguri, the Borno state capital through Konduga.

According to reports, the sect members approached Konduga with the tank after seeing that they were losing the gun battle with the troops. Over 100 militants were killed and a few soldiers also lost their lives in the battle that lasted several hours.

The captured armored tank and the Armored Personnel Carrier have been taken to the Malmalari barracks in the state. Soldiers have since expressed shock over the type of weaponry the sect men have. They said this particular tank has camouflage painting that made it blend with the area, making detection from air almost impossible. Some top military officers say this recent weapon capture shows that the sect is being funded by powerful people as well as having foreign links.

Synagogue miracles are not fake - T.B Joshua releases statement

You know how one incident can destroy everything you've worked hard for all your life? Well, that's what's happening to Pastor T.B Joshua now. He has come under severe criticism and scrutiny following the collapse of a building inside his church premises that left more 115 people dead. Now, many people believe his miracles are not real. Yesterday, a South African journalist published a report where he rubbished all the miracles that supposedly happens at the Synagogue Church of All Nations.

"I challenged the pilgrims to provide me with medical proof that they had been healed. None did.” journalist Jacques Pauw wrote..

The church has reacted to the published report via their Facebook page, claiming that all their miracles are 100% real because they were performed before the church and broadcast live via their Emmanuel TV. See their statement after the cut...

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE SCOAN The SCOAN released a public statement yesterday, September 26, 2014 regarding a false story published in The Vanguard Newspaper, “Synagogue: We Sealed Off Building Before Collapse – LSBCA” which was a total fabrication intended to divert people’s attention from the issue at hand. The writer needs to be investigated concerning the building collapse.

To our surprise, a cover story with even greater fabrications was published today, September 27, 2014 in The Saturday Vanguard, “Are T.B. Joshua’s Miracles Real?” The writer(s) fabricated names of people who do not exist and remained nameless and faceless in order to hide their evil intentions. They need to be investigated.

It is our belief that these stories were intended to divert people’s attention from the evil that has been done. Those involved in these stories need to be investigated concerning the building collapse. If they are not directly involved, they will help the investigation. If they are not the ones who did it, they know those who did. Perhaps, they were involved in the building collapse because they claim what is happening in The SCOAN is fake. They are suspect.

Please note, all of The SCOAN services are public and broadcast live on Emmanuel TV.

Do not be misled and diverted from the truth. No matter how long a lie is sustained, the truth will someday prevail. Jesus is the Truth.

I Got My Big B00bs From My Mum

Nigerian born Ghanaian actress Yvonne Okoro says she got her big b00bs from her mother. The actress recently posted a picture of herself and her mum with the caption, ‘Now you know where all those b00bs come 4frm. Luv u mummy’.

The star even joked about getting a bra for her unborn daughter, ‘bought my daughter a DD bra though she’s not born yet. In 2012, Okoro was at the receiving end of a public backlash when she surprised guests at the 2012 African Movie Academy Award wearing a cleavage revealing dress and later in an interview last year threatened to reveal more.

Tiwa Savage Reportedly Physically Assaulted By Tee-Billz

Rumors of a 5-month wedding between Tiwa Savage and Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun surfaced this week, and it seems there is lot more wrong in the union. The singer had reportedly fired Tee Billz as her manager, and now a new report alleges that Tee-Billz beats his wife. According to blogger Kemi Filani, Tee Billz has been beating Tiwa Savage even before they got married.

She wrote,
Their marriage is barely five months old (they got married in Dubai in May) but Tiwa can’t hold it in anymore…she’s tired of putting up with Tunji…..he beats her, cheats on her etc…so many incredible stories i can’t even put here…but she’s finally ready to call it quit and it all revolves around her money. Three different sources in their inner circle confirmed this. “Kemi, it’s nothing new abeg. We were shocked when she accepted to marry him, he’s been beating her even before he asked her to marry him but love is stupid sometimes. When she agreed to marry him fine, we said ‘okay, do a private and not a big wedding in case things fall apart but they said no…it’s money sharing formula that is worrying them” one of the sources in the circle confidently told me. What does this mean for the couple? Neither has made an official statement regarding the stories.

No contravention notice was served on our building before it collapsed - Synagogue

The Synagogue Church this evening denied online reports
that the collapsed 6-storey building was at one time sealed
by the Lagos state government and a contravention notice served on the church. Below is a statement they posted on their Facebook page...
This is an official communication from The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations regarding some stories currently being reported in the media about the recent incident that happened in The SCOAN.
Our attention has been drawn to a publication in the Vanguard Newspaper of26th September 2014 titled, ‘Synagogue: We Sealed Off Building Before Collapse – LSBCA’.
In the article, the General Manager of the Lagos State
Building Control Agency, Mrs Abimbola Animashahun
Odunayo was quoted as saying that the agency had sealed off the building before it collapsed and that the church ignored the warnings of the agency to stop construction. The story was initially published by online media portal News24.

We deem it necessary to state that the above publication is not true in that:
1. No contravention notice was served on the church before the collapse because there was no reason for the issuance of such notices.

2. The building had never been sealed off for any reason whatsoever before the collapse of 12th September, 2014.

3. At no time was any stop-work notice or directive served on the church or pasted on the building prior to 12th September, 2014.

We however wish to state that the letters that were written to the church by LSBCA were written after the collapse of 12/09/14 in the following order:

1. A letter dated 16/09/2014 Ref No. LASBCA/AL/PCA/DH/01 requesting for the submission of a development permit and approval of structures within the church complex, four days after the building collapsed.
2. A contravention notice dated 17/09/2014 Ref No.
AL/LASBCA/DH/PCA/CN 06 alleging certain
contraventions, five days after the building collapsed.
3. A letter dated 17/09/14 Ref No. AL/LASBCA/DH/PCA/CN 06 requesting for non-destructive tests for structural stability, five days after the building collapsed.

It must be noted that no sealing or quit notice has been served as the building never called for such.
In the above circumstances, we would like to believe that LSBCA has been quoted out of context with the motive of destroying the ongoing investigation into the case as well as casting doubt on the position of the church that the collapse was due to an attack.

Our attention was also drawn to a publication in Nigeria’s Guardian Newspaper of Friday 26th September 2014 titled, ‘Early Probe Report Indicates Compromise In Synagogue Building.’
The article quoted the Honourable Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Lagos State, Mr Toyin Ayinde, as saying that one of the columns or pillars of the collapsed building in the church measured 2 feet by 2 feet and that the reinforcement used for the same was 16mm.

This publication is also misleading and untrue. There is no doubt that it was calculated to give the impression that the collapse was due to structural defects as against the position of the church to the contrary.

We hereby request all the involved parties to take the necessary steps towards correcting such dangerous misinformation so as not to mislead the entire country and the international community.

We also urge the media to take necessary steps towards avoiding the publication of unconfirmed stories in future.
We should not pre-empt and interfere with the ongoing investigation.
