Tambuwal Drags Federal Government to Court

By withdrawing the security aides of the Speaker of the House of Reps by the Federal Government, the Speaker of the House of Reps, Aminu Tambuwal, has filed a suit against the FG before a Federal High court in Abuja. Tanbuwal filed the suit on October 31: 2014 asking the court to declare that the withdrawal of his security aides while he's still the Speaker is unlawful and unconstitutional. He also asked the court to restrain FG from further infringing on his rights and privileges.

 There are reports they are trying to declare his seat vacant and organize a bye-election for the purpose of replacing him.

Tanbuwal asked the court to restrain FG, INEC, PDP and IGP from doing this. In the meantime, he wants the court to order FG to return his security detail pending the determination of the suit.

Barcelona Player Neymar Sent A Jet To Pick Serbian Model He Met In Ibiza

28yr old Serbian model and reality star Soraja Vucelic claimed in a recent interview with a Serbian newspaper that 22 year old Barcelona and Brazilian footballer Neymar da Silva Santos Junior, sent a private jet to pick her up to visit him in Barcelona after the pair met in Ibiza and she shared a picture of herself in the jet in Neymar's jersey to prove she was not lying.

Soraja told Kurir newspaper that she met Neymar in Ibiza in July and they exchanged contact and frequently chatted via Skype. One day he told her he wanted to see her and sent a private plane to pick her and her friend up. Soraja was in Barcelona for many days with Neymar. This happened this October but Soraja refused to say when exactly and what happened between them.

Diezani Alison-Madueke's Sister (Osiyo Agama) Has Been Rescued

The younger sister to the Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke, Osiyo Agama, who was abducted over one (1) week ago, on her way back from an evening church service on October 21, 2014, at Leventis Bus-stop along Port Harcourt-Aba Road, has been rescued by the police.

 A text message from the Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ahmad Mohammad, indicated that she was rescued during a joint operation by the police, military and operatives of the State Security Service.

 The text message read: 
“This is to inform you that Osiyo Agama has been safely rescued during a joint operation by the police, military and the State Security Service. Two suspects were arrested”. 

Ladies! Becareful Of Butt Enlagrgement Surgery

For 24-year-old Nigerian girl, Joy Williams, the butt enlargement surgery she had, has made her to get to the end of the road.  Joy was said to have had a failed £2,000 butt enlargement after being pushed by peer pressure and low self esteem.

According to Dailymail, Joy left Nigeria in 2007 for UK to stay with her mother in Thamesmead. She was said to have inquiried on the internet, where to have a surgery, in which she found out SP clinic in Thailand. The young girl who has had a nose job before, visited SP clinic on October 14 in a bid to have an enhanced bigger butt.

An operation in which her wounds became infected after few days. This made her to go back for a corrective surgery, or probably removing the silicon implants Unfortunately,  she was found dead on the operating table with a three inch-long stitched incision on her tail bone after medical staff found they were unable to bring her back to life.

However, Thai officials investigating her death believe her operation had been delayed to ensure Joy had not eaten anything beforehand and that as a result, the operation began after the clinic’s legal closing time of 7pm.

 Sompob Sansiri, who’s the doctor who carried out the surgery, has been arrested and accused of negligence due to his acts of carrying out operations at nights without license. He has been charged with recklessness causing death and might be facing 10 years jail term if found guilty.

 Preparations are in top gear to bring her remains home.

Super Falcons Get $18,000 Each For AWC triumph

Players of the Super Falcons received $18,000 each, for emerging winners of the African Women Championship.

The Nigerian ladies beat Cameroon 2-0 in the final played, to lift the trophy for a record seventh time in Windoek, Namibia.

General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, Musa Amadu, has now revealed their rewards which were handed to them at a ministerial reception for the team in Abuja.

“We are obviously very proud of these girls,” Musa stated. “For the group stage matches, the girls got $3000 each.

“They got $4000 for winning the semifinals and $5000 for lifting the cup.

“So all together they got $18,000 bonus outside their camp allowances.”

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) President, Ibinabo Fiberesima also rejoiced with the champs!!!

 

Wizkid Arrested For Smoking In A Hotel In Nairobi

Wizkid who was in Nairobi over the weekend to shoot a video and also had one or two shows was actually arrested at Nairobi Crown Plaza, a non-smoking hotel where he was lodged. A Nairobian Website which gave account of the scene reports that, the Nigerian star was arrested when he was about checking out of the hotel after it was discovered he had smoked an illegal substance- weed.

The hotel manager questioned him about the illegal act, which made them have a hot argument, before the hotel security men called in the police. Victoria Kimani who had been visiting him in his hotel room was also there to help him check out and witnessed the whole scenario.

When the police came, they insisted he will have to follow them to their station; Capital Hill Police Station after they handcuffed him.  Even though he had paid the Sh50, 000 fine the hotel charges for breaking their rules, he was still taken away before he finally sort himself out.

Panel Clears Oritsejafor,Asari Dokubo over $9.3m arms deal

A secret panel raised by the Federal Government has reportedly cleared the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ayo Oritsejafor, and Alhaji Mujahideen Asari-Dokubo of involvement in the $9.3 million arms’ deal.

According to a statement by PRNigeria a media outfit close to security agencies,
“A special team, comprising security agents, intelligence experts and officials of the ministry of foreign affairs has investigated the $9.3 million cash-for-arms deal and submitted its report to the presidency.(continue)….

“The committee confirmed that the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, had no connection with the transaction.

“It was true that the CAN president’s jet was used but we found out that it was without his knowledge.

As at the time in question, the aircraft was on lease. And you may be aware that the lease trend is peculiar to private jet owners in the country.

“It is the view of the committee that Oritsejafor cannot be held liable for any shuttle made by a lease firm.

“As for the manifest of the plane, the committee also discovered that the Niger Delta activist, Mujaheedin Asari-Dokubo, was not among those on board the transaction aircraft. There was no mention of Dokubo in the manifest presented during the investigation.”
